Disneyland announced “the stately grounds of the Haunted Mansion will expand” next year to include an expanded outdoor queue featuring gardens inspired by Master Gracey, Madame Leota and the one-eyed cat.
A new Madame Leota-themed retail shop will open near the ride’s exit.
Also, the plaza adjacent to Tiana’s Palace will be “enhanced with an elegant, park-like setting,” where guests can relax and enjoy live entertainment under the shade of new and historic trees.
Disneyland Resort says construction will start in January and more updates will be shared early next year.
As part of these changes, Disneyland will also add a new elevator exit from the Haunted Mansion for guests with disabilities.
